International Federation of Accountants
IFAC is the global organization for the accountancy profession dedicated to serving the public interest by strengthening the profession and contributing to the development of strong international economies. IFAC is comprised of over 175 members and associates in more than 130 countries and jurisdictions, representing almost 3 million accountants in public practice, education, government service, industry, and commerce.
Our both statutory professional accounting organisations are also IFAC members. And we have applied for IFAC Membership, currently complying with our membership obligations towards IFAC Associate Membership..We support IFAC's mission and programs;
As a part of our Membership obligation our members has to comply with relevant Accounting Education Standards, Auditing Standards and Ethical Standards. Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants
A professional accountant needs to follow a strict code of professional ethics.
Our Institute has adopted 2015 Edition of IFAC's Code of Ethics and every member has to follow it strictly. Any deviation from the same will be charged as "Professional Misconduct" and will be liable for Discplinary Action by the Institute .
